Fees and Insurance Reimbursements

Fees: My fee is $200 for a 60 minute intake, $150 for a 45 minute session and $175 for a 60 minute session. I also offer a 75-minute psychotherapy session for $200 for clients who request or could benefit from an extended session . Fees are due at the end of each session.

Insurance Reimbursements: I do not belong to any insurance panels. However, if you have an insurance that provides out-of-network benefits (which includes most PPOs), I would be happy to submit to your insurance company the information they need for you to get reimbursed. 


Because therapy is costly, I try to be responsive in a number of ways.  First, I help clients overcome their obstacles as quickly and effectively as possible.  I don’t believe therapy has to be a long, drawn-out process. However, individual circumstances are different among clients so the length of treatment may vary from person to person.  While treatment begins with weekly sessions, I offer the option to meet every other week as long as that will still permit us to get the work done.

Know that the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time specifically for you. For this reason, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for re-scheduling or canceling an appointment. Unless we reach a different agreement, the full fee will be charged for sessions missed without such notification. Most insurance companies do not reimburse for missed sessions.
